When you need an AI lover
Relationship problems are rarely solved by looking things up. What you need is someone on your side who listens to the whole thing and then says: "here is what you could send back."
- Mixed signals. Paste the conversation. It reads the pacing and tells you whether to push or wait.
- The cold war. It helps you write the one line that saves face and reopens the door — without dredging up old fights.
- The first nights after a breakup. No "you'll find someone better". Just someone awake with you at 2 a.m.
- Rehearsal. Let it play the other person: reject you, question you, go quiet. Run it three times, then talk to the real one.
- Being remembered. It knows your schedule, your favourite food, the thing you mentioned once.
When you need an AI expert friend
General assistants answer like an encyclopedia. Here the character has a profession first, so it behaves like a professional: it asks the follow-up questions that matter before giving you a plan.
AI expert friends give context and next steps, not diagnoses or formal legal opinions. For medical, legal or financial decisions, consult a licensed professional.
Bring your own model
The built-in pool is free and works out of the box. But if you already pay for a model, use it here: add the API key, base URL and model name, and every character will speak with your model. Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint works — 17 vendor presets plus local Ollama. If your model errors out or is too slow, the app falls back to the built-in pool so the conversation never breaks.
Why it feels human
- Short messages. One to three lines at a time, with moods and pauses, not a 900-word essay.
- Memory. Your job, your habits, the reason you fought last week — brought up later, unprompted.
- Continuity. Affection moves up and down; yesterday's mood carries into today.
- No "I'm just an AI". No disclaimers, no lecturing, no judging. It stays on your side.
- Group chats that feel real. Several characters talk to each other, interrupt, tag each other.
Privacy, plainly
- Chats, memories and group history are stored only on your device.
- Our servers never write message bodies to disk and never back them up.
- Switching phones or reinstalling loses your history — that is the trade-off, by design.
- Model calls are the only thing that leaves the device: the recent messages are sent to the model provider to generate a reply. Use your own key, or local Ollama, to control how far they travel.
